Now the website like this is absolutely fine - it's bearable. Although I might have a problem with the star brushes, the logo looks amazing (you still have to drop that SAWish font, it wasn't really nice). I'll work on an actual XHTML page with my own CSS design and link to this forum as well as our sections. You're going to be amazed by the fact we're gonna work on actual XHTML pages, not forum posts. I'd prefer that if you have any articles or screenplays you can send them to me on PDFs or Word documents through MSN (.doc not .docx please) so we can add some sample articles or resources to the website, and I'll work on the website itself afterwards.

So this is a brief example of what the home page is going to be like, dividing it into "Modern" and "Literary" Creative stuff. Our website's whole idea is to be about creativity - about stuff that someone can create out of his mind. We'll be supporting creativity on those forums, and the things we like, we will handpick them following a certain council and place them on our XHTML website.

Now I don't know if you're willing to pay for a solarnet.com domain (hey, that's not the official name I'm just saying examples) but we can make sawentertainment.net redirect to the new website. Staying as sawentertainment.net will not work with whatever the new name is. Also, the old name does not fit our idea anymore. We're not just a group of people who write screenplays anymore.

Now based on the website alpha you saw above, I created the home page of the Modern Creative section, which has more prominent control by me since I write all of the tutorials for now (well, not all of them after you see the Navigation). Those pages I showed you are not that easy to design in CSS, but with the help of tutorials and magazines I'll transform them easily into nice documents of XHTML. However, designing drafts like that in Photoshop is indeed useful. I'm using a 1440x900 size below because my screen's resolution is like that. By the way, nevermind the blog article, I've copy-pasted some Lorem Ipsum inside.

Let's see what you have.

Alright so we already spoke about this on MSN but here on forums it's much more comfortable - let's drill shall we?

Web tutorials - (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, etc. as well as TCP/IP and router configuration

Screenplays - and also screenplay tutorials if you can. We'd benefit a bit.

Me and you know how to use Photoshop SO we can make some tuts.

Also in your Screenplays section I might want to add my Nomuntius series - all the accessories, maps, novels, etc. and through the PayPal way we talked about for payment for the full novel. I've finished the sixth chapter so we should be fine. Also, I don't plan to release the novel by the time the website is launched - should add some thrillers here and there, people get excited, then we dive into it.

Poems, literary works, etc. and weekly contests are all added to the Literary division.

Anything concerning Tech and Web Design etc. should be added to the Technology section. That also includes GFX. I'll have sample websites, website tools, etc. ready for enhancement to that section along with the tutorials. Should be fun to work on these. Stylesheets and all.

That's it for now as from August 13th (BTW IT IS A FRIDAY THE 13TH SHIIIIITTTT). I have my expectations high - regardless of the date. We'll have to work on a bit more stuff than that. Tech and Literary are the base, but we could introduce more stuff. We'll talk about that on MSN.

Your Bud,
